Reebok x KOOL-AID

Patriots star and Super Bowl contender, Laurence Maroney, nicknamed "KOOL-AID" was the inspiration behind Reebok's new KOOL-AID collection. The first installment of the collection- Cherry, Strawberry and Grape- has just launched! Check out http://www.clickthat2006.com/rbk/ReebokKoolAid.aspx for more information. 2 minute skating survey
We are a student group at Boston University's School of Management who are desperately trying to finish a project so that we can eat turkey.

One final (ridiculously short!) survey for anyone that is involved in hockey, figure skating, or ice skating of any kind. If you can take this 2 minute survey you will be providing us with a vital piece of information to complete our project. Thanks in advance for your time!

New Skating Survey

We are a group of students at Boston University who are working on a project that involves the ice skating industry. If you play hockey, figure skate, or skate recreationally, it would be a huge help if you could take two minutes to take this survey for us! The survey is located here: http://websurveyor.net/wsb.dll/34802/skating.htm

Thank you very much!

Skating project

We are a group of juniors at Boston University who are completing a business development project. We’re developing a new product in the ice skating industry. It would be a great help if you could take our five minute survey, located at http://websurveyor.net/wsb.dll/34802/iceskatingsurvey.htm. One of our requirements is to collect 500 of these surveys so your five minutes means the world to us.

Thank you in advance for the time!

Best regards,

looking to meet other Boston sports fans?
Hey there,

I just started a community where people in Boston can meet other people from Boston. Surprisingly, there isn't one already dedicated to simply meeting people in our beautiful city. So, I have 0 people signed up, besides myself. Please join. It would make me super happy. And you might end up making a really cool friend, or more.

Thank you and sorry for the advertisement:)

Does anyone know where I can find pickup/regularly scheduled soccer games in the Boston area? I'm a college student looking for some fun, fairly competitive games. Thanks!

Red Sox Goat of the Game
Hear ye, hear ye...

I'd like to invite y'all to take a gander and comment comment comment wildly at my LJ, Goat of the Game. GOTG's purpose is to be the anti-MVP award for the Boston Red Sox. The GOTG is the player who, in a win, contributed the least to the outcome of the Red Sox game or, in a loss, made the most significant plays leading to the Sox loss. We hold our players to a high standard, and it's time they get called out when they don't perform.

I just started this a couple days ago, but will be reviewing my scorecards from the entire season and naming Goats in retrospect.

Click on gamegoat to check me out. ;) Fans of all teams welcome to comment.

x-posted from several forums. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Okay. Last year, a community was created to discuss the Boston Red Sox, called fenway_faithful. It was a great community. This season, so far, it has not been very active at all. The mods are considering deleting the community due to inactivity. That's why you're reading this post. This community deserves to remain on LJ. Last year, when other communities were stuck in flamewar after flamewar, fenway_faithful was filled with great Sox talk. There are some amazing people there. So please, join fenway_faithful. And if you are already a member, please, just post. I really want to save this community; it does not deserve to be deleted. Thanks for your time.

Because nothing's better than being a Boston sports fan..
I just had to say hello. Just getting over the entire football thing and low-and-behold baseball season is upon us. Good thing since hockey season came and went before anyone knew it. Hmm.. wonder if it'll be around next year. Hope so.. the Celtics just don't cut it for me.

Current Mood: nostalgic

Quite a story for you.  When I used to live in Saugus, MA., I coached little league.  Now I live in friggin Tucson, AZ..  But when I was there, a player of mine (11yrs old) told me a story about he was walking through NYC, wearing a Nomah shirt.  He walked past a hotdog vendor, and the vendor takes out his spatula, which had been sitting in boiling hot grease, and smacks the kid in the back with it, burning him, and ruining the shirt.

Friggin New Yorkers.  How spiteful. :-D
